This course is an introduction to Mindful Fitness & Mindfulness, you will learn how to combine movement with your breath & internal awareness to bring calm & relaxation to your life for better health and well being. Mindful Fitness encourages you to nurture yourself by balancing the mind, body & soul.

This course will teach you the benefits of Mindfulness and Mindful Fitness, including relieving stress, anxiety, depression, fatigue, chronic pain, illness and helping with weight management. We will also talk about the science behind how these benefits occur and run through three instructional class videos that you can do as often as you like.

The movement in this course is gentle and safe but I do encourage you to listen to your body and if anything feels uncomfortable then just sit it out until we change poses.

I have a passion for fitness and mindfulness for the Mind, Body & Soul, I believe that it is the gateway to living a calm, healthy life of peace and fulfillment. By using gentle movement and mindfulness with our breath and awareness we can balance our mind, body and soul so that our bodies can be in the optimal environment to heal themselves and work in the way that they are supposed to. This is what I bring to you in my courses, and it excites me that I can help by empowering you to change your life.

My passion for sport and fitness has taken me to national representative level, requiring dedication and commitment. I now bring these attributes to my business and the clients that entrust their well being to me. My point of difference to other fitness and wellness businesses is that I incorporate fitness with mindfulness and meditation - without the flamboyance and fan-fare - focusing on attaining balance for the mind, body and spirit as a whole. I believe in honesty, integrity, being natural and keeping it real.

Qualifications - in 2018 I earned my Mindfulness Teacher Training Certificate. I completed the Diploma in Professional Coaching in 2017 and in 2016 I gained the Professional Certificate of Wellbeing Coaching, which includes knowledge on Psychology, Behaviour Change, Wellbeing Management & Health Coaching. In 2019 I completed a course studying the Science of Subtle Yoga which is a science based theory and practical course on how slow movement benefits fatigue, depression, anxiety, chronic pain and body image/weight management.
I have studied The Yoga & Neuroscience Connection, and Subtle Yoga Teacher Training. These have provided me with more scientific knowledge on how Mindful Movement can benefit your brain and general health which I share within my on-line courses and face-to-face classes. Combining these qualifications with my many fitness qualifications and life experience I feel that I can provide a valuable, life changing experience to anyone that is willing to learn.
